Note: The stuttering present in this video during the 120fps segments is the result of a video editing glitch and not an issue with the game.

Sekiro is another awesome combat game via From Software – and on PC, you can power past the frame-rate limitations of the console versions. Here’s Alex with everything you need to know about Sekiro’s excellent PC version – and just how well it runs at 60fps and beyond.

Why are you using a 1700x with a 2080Ti? That is extreme bottlenecking.

SEKIRO is one of the most absurd games of 2020 whenever you die back to the beginning of the level ! that parasite wasted much time with SEKIRO SHIT

Can I expect it to run at 1080p 60fps on a 1660ti and ryzen 5 2600? And will I hit more than 100fps if gpu is replaced with gtx 1080?

Great video! I went right here immediately upon picking up Sekiro to look for your optimized settings for 1080p! I7, 16gbddr4 ram, and gtx 1050TI 4gb. So far so good!

So basically, get it on PC unless you want to wait for PS5/xboxsex

frametimes dipping towards 60 is unbearable, and in a game such as this? Not an option.

I always wonder why I get my shit absolutely rocked on the Ps4 version. Then I remember that wireless controllers have variable input lag, the backgrounds stutter like crazy when doing drastic camera movement (which let's be real, makes up the entirety of this effing game), and my $100 smart TV I'm sure is not displaying the actual gameplay with any sort of appropriate refresh rate and probably comes with its own delay and tearing itself. I've built a high-end gaming pc since the sekiro release so I'm absokutely stoked to actually get to experience this game without destroying my eyes and getting owned by several layers of lag and frame nonsense

Bro I just installed the game. Playing with keyboard and mouse and the camera is horrendous, it is so fucking annoying.

I wish you showed that 1060 build with uncapped frames. I'd wish to know just how much of a headroom there is. :/

Why is this video unwatchable? It's stuttering and jiggering as hell!

Horrible game to play if you enjoy at least two of the following:

    1. Decent FoV

    2. Uncapped frame rates

    3. Ultra-wide

    1. The FoV in this game is absolutely dogshit, and somehow none of the mods I've tried have managed to fix it. There were definitely improvements, but the visuals "broke" before I could reach a remotely comfortable FoV.

    2. Again, you can uncap the frame rate, but this game runs so bad that I (i5-6600k, 32GB RAM, GTX 1070) couldn't get over 80 FPS in the starting room (with basically nothing going on) at 2560 x 1080. Hovered around 60 FPS at 3440 x 1440.

    3. No ultra-wide support out of the box Mods to push the game to ultrawide seem to break the interface in multiple ways.

This game feels like a shitty console game from the 360/PS3 era. To be avoided at all costs.

Im flabbergasted we've hit a point where 60 fps is not the ideal anymore.
