Miscreated is a survival game on PC that could have easily become the biggest and most popular of it’s kind. But, unfortunately, this did not happen because of some issues with the developers and the community. In this video, I am going to be talking about these issues and how they caused Miscreated to fail

Its really funny to see you claiming that this game is dead even though so many people play it even today including me and my friends and as of 2020…miscreated is one of the cheapest survival game available in steam…the only problem it has is the glitches…yeah it hinders the overall gameplay experience sometimes but it's not like the game's absolutely unplayable…its quite good with friends out there…just my opinion…btw I have over 107 hours in this game…

I have a lot of history in miscreated and it always has a special place in my heart. I too stopped playing around 2018. I reinstalled it a few weeks ago to see how its going and was pretty surprised to see its still active with quite a few busy servers. It seems slightly busier than scum servers but not as busy as dayz. The fact they added modding support and allowed server owners to turn on or off certain restrictions that official servers had seemed appealing to many. The snap building was a game changer. Its charm won me back over so im going to give it a second chance. I think a few of the things you mentioned have been fixed (Storage) but I feel the damage was already done and most people had left. The devs were their own worst enemy, because a lot of the time they defiantly stood their ground and didn't listen to the people who were begging them by the thousands to change things for the better. It wasn't until they damaged their own reputation enough to the point where everyone fucked off that they must have had a huge board meeting and some hard truths were screamed at the owners forcing them to finally accept they are shit at running the company. So the lesson learned would have been Listen to the people, listen to their concerns and what they want, do not tell them "no we are making the game how we want to to be played" Because in the end, everyone will leave

I loved micreated, but it didnt last.
The feeling of exploring homes, trying to work out what happened, the suttle light shining through the window, onto the decayed stairs, gave you a sense of melancholy, and refreshment. It was much like the last of us menu.

So beautiful in those little moments, but that feeling didnt last, after your 5th dying and looking for loot for no aparent reason or goal, you get bored of it, and leave.

I'm going to be honest. I've never really played miscreated. Even though I have thousands of hours between other survival type games such as Scum, dayz, and others. However, I have an issue with your premise. The average AAA game upon release is 60 dollars. Yet the crux of your argument is that this game at 25 dollars was asking to much, badically full price?

All these episodes are the same

    1. Game starts out good, Has bugs but it's early on so its forgivable.
    2. Since game is pretty good lots of people play
    3. Game gets too big and devs can't keep up with all the bug fixes, developing the game, and adding content as more players = more demands.

It's also pretty clear that you pad your videos to be 10 minutes or a bit over. Please stick to making things only as long as they need to be, and not more for the sake of add revenue.

I don’t think Miscreated is as dead as you think it is. The YouTube community and the General Game community really wouldn’t size up with what you’re on about. This is essentially out dated and needs a remake.

The thing is, I agree with the devs, other survival games have a huge problem with big groups taking over servers

This definitely needs a revisit. I haven't played it in a while but I used to play all the time around the time you're showing. But there's been HUGE updates since then that added and changed a lot about the game. Definitely planning to check it out eventually but just haven't yet

  • Louis Clegg
    Posted July 12, 2020 4:20 pm

Dude $25 is a completely reasonable price for an early access game… A full price game is roughly between $40-$60, you assume an early access game will some day be worth that value, but since its currently not and you're taking a risk, they lower the price for early adopters. You way missed the mark on that point.

I like the game I just hate that I cant find 1st person servers anymore. I can't play survival games in 3rd person, it breaks immersion for me. And I don't want to keep it in 1st while everyone plays in 3rd cause this puts me at a disadvantage.

Storage can be a relatively difficult thing to have on large server based games

why is it so hard to implement? is it because that could cause laggs? its just a chest where people can acces stuff from the server. just a little database… why is that so hard? cant they get help from crytec? a lot of crytec games use storage systems…

This was one of the very first games I got when I bought my first PC. I didn’t know anything about gaming pc’s, steam, etc.

Good old starter days. This game just seemed boring when I played because it didn’t really explain what you were supposed to do and how to do it.
